Picture this: a charming, rustic farmhouse nestled amidst vibrant orange trees in San Juan, California. It was here that we had the privilege of collaborating with these two incredible individuals to create a film that would celebrate the year and their love loudly.
The Encarnacion family is one of the funnest, most authentic radical groups I've ever had the privilege of being around. Between jumping in the ocean in full wedding dress, to sharing a chunk of wedding cake and feeding it from their hands to the rest of the family... it was an epic day. In addition, they are some of my dear friends I grew up with in San Clemente. So yes-- Long live this magnificent couple and this spectacular day!
Filming this wedding was so significant and special to me. I grew up with the bride, so capturing her and her love on one of the biggest days of her life was beyond special. Set in Southern California, the day was full of beautiful chaos, overflowing love, and the biggest bridal party I’ve ever seen—30 of their closest people showing up loud and proud. From tearful vows to a wild jump in the pool at the end of the night, it was joyful, emotional, and so them. I’ll hold this one close forever.
This film captures the joy and heart of a couple who did things their own way—fun, adventurous, and deeply in love. Set in a stunning backyard, their wedding was full of laughter, golden light, and the kind of vows that make your chest ache. From spontaneous dance breaks to tearful promises, every moment was infused with meaning, movement, and magic.
With this ceremony-only film, my goal was just to capture the joy of this stunning couple. So many sweet, raw moments— close moments with friends, emotional hugs with parents, and a love that runs deep between these two. Just feeling really grateful to have witnessed it.

Live music, lights strung up everywhere, a packed dance floor, and even crowd surfing. It all happened in their hometown of San Clemente, surrounded by friends and family who clearly ADORE them. Filming this felt like being part of something really special—and I was just so happy to be there.

This one was extra sweet. The bride is an old friend of mine—we’ve dreamed about her wedding video together for years. And when the day finally came, it was SURREAL. Set in her grandma’s garden and home in the Bay Area, every corner was filled with intention, history, and magic. Friends and family traveled from all over the country to be there, and you could feel how deeply loved they are. It was intimate, emotional, and full of joy—a day I felt so honored to witness and capture.
Even before meeting this couple, I could sense their deep creativity, their unique energy, and the abundant love they share—for each other and for their people. Their day was a heartfelt, family-filled love fest, and I feel so honored to have witnessed it.
The couple was so effortlessly kind and in love, and the whole day was full of color, joy, and really good people—the kind of vibe Southern California does best. What I keep thinking about are the first dances. There was so much emotion packed into those moments, you could feel how much they’ve lived and loved already. I left that night feeling lucky I got to be there.
